Miguel

TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2026

A passionate crowd packed into Vancouver‘s Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre as Miguel brought his visually stunning CAOS Tour to the city. The energy in the building was electric before the lights even went down, with fans dressed to the nines and ready to groove. When the curtain finally dropped, the audience was treated to an unforgettable evening driven by an immaculate, hit-packed setlist that showcased his incredible vocal range and magnetic stage presence.

The staging for this tour is nothing short of an apocalyptic fever dream. The absolute centerpiece of the stage production was a full-sized car flipped completely upside down, setting a gritty, cinematic backdrop for the evening. Miguel emerged to deafening screams and immediately climbed onto the overturned vehicle to kick off the show with “PERDERME” and “THE KILLING.” Dancing on top of the car with effortless swagger, he captivated the entire arena from the very first note. The visual of him moving fluidly atop the wreckage perfectly complemented the dark, intoxicating energy of the tour’s title track, “CAOS,” before he transitioned smoothly into the psychedelic vibes of “DRUGS.”

Once the initial shock and awe of the opening spectacle settled, the performance shifted into a seamlessly blended sequence of modern R&B classics. The crowd sang along to every single word of “HOW MANY DRINKS,” creating a massive echoing chorus that filled the sports centre. He then slowed the tempo down just enough to deliver a flawlessly smooth rendition of “COFFEE,” proving that his live falsetto is just as pristine as his studio recordings. The live band provided a lush, heavy instrumental backing during “NEW MARTYRS” and “TRIGGERED,” allowing his vocals to soar over the complex arrangements. The flawless medley of “EL PLEITO / CANDLES” served as a beautiful bridge into the next act of the night, highlighting his ability to fuse Latin influences with deep, soulful rhythms.

Every great Miguel Vancouver concert relies heavily on his undeniable connection with the audience. Moving away from the wreckage of the car, he utilized every inch of the stage to interact with the fans in the front rows during “THRILL” and “ANOINTED.” The sensual energy of the night hit a new peak when the opening chords of “GIRL W/ TATTOO” rang out, prompting thousands of glowing cell phone lights to illuminate the dark arena. He kept the seductive momentum rolling right into a sultry performance of “ALL I WANT” and the heavy bass drops of “QUICKIE.” The transition into “RIP” was accompanied by stunning lighting design that cast dramatic silhouettes across the stage, further cementing the highly theatrical nature of the entire production.

As the night progressed, the setlist expertly wove through his extensive catalogue to build tension toward a massive finale. “OSCILLATE” and “NEARSIGHT” showcased the more experimental, alternative rock elements of his sound, proving he refuses to be boxed into a single genre. The atmosphere shifted into pure romance as he delivered a deeply passionate version of “SIMPLE THINGS,” followed closely by the ethereal tones of “ANGEL’S SONG.” However, it was the unmistakable, infectious groove of “ADORN” that truly blew the roof off the venue. The entire general admission floor became a massive dance party, with couples swaying and fans screaming the iconic chorus back at the stage with absolute devotion.

The final stretch of the show was an absolute masterclass in ending a concert on the highest possible high. He kept the energy surging with the futuristic bounce of “COMMA, KARMA” before launching into the carefree, atmospheric anthem “SKYWALKER,” which had the entire crowd bouncing in unison. For a deeply intimate moment, the band stepped back, allowing him to perform a breathtaking solo acoustic rendition of “PUSSY IS MINE” that left the audience completely mesmerized by his raw vocal talent. Finally, he closed out the phenomenal evening with the timeless classic “SURE THING.” It was a triumphant, sexy, and visually stunning performance that proved this tour is one of the absolute best live music experiences of the year.
