Daniel Caesar Brings His First-Ever Arena Tour to Vancouver’s Rogers Arena This August

Daniel Caesar Brings His First-Ever Arena Tour to Vancouver’s Rogers Arena This August

Daniel Caesar has announced his first headline arena tour, the Son Of Spergy Tour, a 30-date run spanning Asia and North America in support of his acclaimed new album Son Of Spergy. The Live Nation-promoted tour sweeps through Vancouver, BC, with a stop at Rogers Arena on August 16, 2026, with support from 070 Shake. Tickets for the North American leg went on sale today, Friday, April 3rd, at 10 a.m. local time. You can get yours now via Live Nation.

A First: Daniel Caesar Graduates to Arenas

The tour marks a major milestone for the Toronto, Ontario native, representing his first full-scale headline run at the arena level. Caesar has long been one of the most critically beloved artists working in contemporary R&B, and the Son Of Spergy Tour signals that his audience has grown to match his reputation. The North American leg launches July 14 in Denver, CO, and covers 23 dates across the United States and Canada, including his hometown of Toronto at Scotiabank Arena and six additional Canadian stops. Select North American dates will feature support from Faye Webster and 070 Shake.

Son Of Spergy: His Highest-Charting Album Yet

Released last fall, Son Of Spergy debuted on the Billboard 200 at #4 and topped the Billboard R&B Album Chart at #1, making it the highest-charting body of work of Caesar’s career and his first Top 10 album. The record, recorded largely in Jamaica, is a deeply personal meditation on family, fatherhood, and reconciliation, centred specifically on his relationship with his father, Norwill Simmonds, who appears on the album alongside collaborators Sampha, Bon Iver, Blood Orange, and Yebba. Standout singles include “Have A Baby (With Me),” “Call On Me,” and the Bon Iver-assisted “Moon.” The album track “Who Knows,” which Caesar performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, has emerged as a runaway streaming hit.

Caesar has described the album’s core theme plainly: “I have a lot of respect for my dad, and I hold him in high regard. The album is about me realizing that I am exactly like him. In that sense, it’s about having patience, respect, and admiration for myself.”

A Landmark Year Before the Tour Even Starts

The tour announcement follows an extraordinary stretch for Caesar in early 2026. At the 2026 JUNO Awards, he received the International Achievement Award, won Best Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year, and took home Songwriter of the Year. He also delivered a rare second Tiny Desk Concert and performed alongside Mustafa, Alex G, Blood Orange, Rex Orange County, Jazmine Sullivan, and others at the Artists for Aid benefit concert in Los Angeles, which raised $5.5 million for charities in Sudan and Palestine. These performances have only amplified the anticipation surrounding his first arena run.

The tour also arrives alongside a wave of new RIAA certification milestones for Caesar’s catalogue. His debut album Freudian is now 2x Platinum, while smash singles “Get You” and “Best Part feat. H.E.R.” have each reached 7x Platinum. Additional certifications include Platinum status for “We Find Love,” “Loose,” “Streetcar,” “Hold Me Down,” “Blessed,” “CYANIDE,” “LOVE AGAIN,” and “Who Hurt You?,” among others.

Vancouver fans will have one chance to catch the Son Of Spergy Tour, with Daniel Caesar performing at Rogers Arena on Sunday, August 16, 2026, with support from 070 Shake.
