It’s been almost fifteen years since Jeff Mangum played a show under the name of his most revered project, Neutral Milk Hotel. But all of that seems to be changing.
First, Mangum was announced as part of the Coachella lineup this year, marking the biggest festival he’s played at to date, and now he’s slated to play Athenaeum Theatre in Chicago Feb 6-7 under the NMH moniker.
If this is a return to music full time for Mangum, it isn’t entirely obvious yet. But we can all keep hoping.
