Blur will headline the Olympic Games Closing Ceremony on August 12 as part of the Best of British lineup. Also on the poster are New Order and The Specials. The announcement has come on the heels of the performance of a new Blur song by Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon on Sunday and an appearance on the Brit Awards, fueling the rumor mill’s hopes a reformation could be in the works.
The closing ceremonies will take place in Hyde Park on the 12th. Check out the footage of the band unleashing the new goods last Sunday:
